fills its 2025 schedule , community members can look forward to another impactful year of events . Highlights include the MountainOne Steel Rail Race , the largest running event in the Berkshires . On Saturday , May 17 , there will be the free Mo Mile Kids Run . On Sunday , May 18 , look out for the Steel Rail 8K , Half Marathon , and Full Marathon , which includes a new additional option this year : the 2-Person Marathon Relay . Each runner will complete 13.1 miles of the 26.2 mile race . The foundation will host the Berkshire County Mother ’ s Day Race on May 11 , Lee Lions Club 5K on May 26 ; and the 2nd Annual Berkshire Pride 5K and 1 Mile Walk in June . The summer season continues with the Berkshire Health Systems July 4th Road Race across downtown Pittsfield , Highlawn Farm Keep Moo ’ ving 5K on July 27 , and Pedal & Plod in Adams on August 3 . Berkshire Running Foundation provides free training programs to help runners and walkers of all abilities prepare for events . The Foundation hosts weekly runs out of its offices located in the Allendale Underground Shopping Center . The group focuses on upcoming events , and the coaches and ambassadors guide participants through a safe and successful training season .
