exhibition, by the Royal Geographical
Society(with IBG) celebrates the 60th
anniversary of the incredible
expedition to the summit ofour
planet’s highest peak, and includes a
fine art sale featuring over 40 limited
edition prints –chosen from the 2,500
images from the adventure. Offering
a window on to the team’s most
momentous experiences, images
on show include the iconic shot of
Tenzing Norgayst anding on the
summit shortly after they made their
ascent.The Society’s first new book
on the subject for a decade, Everest
containing over 400 unique
photographs, will also be launched at
the exhibition.
