JANESSA BORK
Janessa Bork is a freelance illustrator based in Bend,
Oregon. Her work is inspired by the beauty of nature and
her passion for the outdoors. Within her work you will
find majestic nostalgia, vibrant colors, and a combina-
tion of wild and organic forms. Snowboarding is in her
roots and the mountains fuse her never ending pursuit of
adventure and creative habit. She is the owner and lead
illustrator of VIVI DESIGN CO. which she started in 2017
when her studio transitioned from the Willamette Valley
to the Deschutes landscape. Her skills include illustrative
mural work, brand identity and traditional sign writing. She
specializes in illustrative apparel and merchandise graph-
ics, unique typographic wall signs, illustrations for posters,
interior and exterior mural work, enamel window graphics,
hand-drawn logo design, cut out wood signs, restaurant
identity, reverse glass gold leaf gilding, hand-painted
vehicle/motorcycle lettering and a variety of detailed
commision works.
She grew up riding Mt Bachelor and is happy to call
Bend home again after eleven years of living and soak-
ing in the creative juices of PDX. Janessa received her
Bachelor’s degree with a major in illustration at Pacific
Northwest College of Art in 2011. Janessa is also known
for her skills and passion for standing sideways. Her
current sponsor list includes: Mt Bachelor, Snoplanks,
Nikita Clothing, Smith Optics, Blackstrap, and Fix Bind-
ings. She loves riding big mountain lines, pow with her
friends and racing banked slaloms with some park laps
in between. Her favorite hobbies include dog lover to two
