CYCLOCROSS NATIONALS|
DECEMBER 2018 LOUISVILLE, KENTUCKY Photos by Bill Warburton
Top: Jacob Olander runs up one of the many muddy sections. A quarter
of this years course required running because of the deep mud. Each lap
the racers came into the pits to get a freshly washed bike otherwise you
were toast.
Left: Tanner Bowen riders an off camber and dryer part of the course.
Like father, like son, but could have used that clean diaper change over
in the pits.
Above: Bart Bowen is a cycling legend but even with that status he still
has to ride the same mud like everyone else.
Opposite page: Cyclocross racers say they like mud if they didn’t, they’d
stick to the road. Here, Tanner Wescott wears his Kentucky Mud well.
