Milton Packer, MD, Distinguished Scholar in Cardiovascular Science, is an internationally recognized expert on cardiology and specifically heart failure. He assists in efforts on the Dallas campus to focus research studies on the development of drugs and devices to treat heart failure and ultimately enhance patient care. Two years ago, Dr. Packer started “Revolution and Revelation” a weekly blog on MedPages Today’s website. He currently enjoys a large following and comments on his blog posts generally are in the double digits.
