BAYLOR SCOTT & WHITE HEART AND VASCULAR HOSPITAL – FORT WORTH In fiscal year 2019, Baylor Scott & White Heart and Vascular Hospital – Fort Worth* continued to grow its reputation for the treatment and care of advanced cardiovascular disease patients. As the only comprehensive structural heart disease program in Tarrant County, the number of complex cases grew in the areas of valve disorders and less invasive cardiothoracic surgeries. Growth was significant in both the electrophysiology and cath labs, as well as the increased volume of cardiothoracic surgery cases. Patients traveled from counties surrounding Tarrant County to receive this specialized care from the team on the Fort Worth campus. *Baylor Scott & White Heart and Vascular Hospital – Fort Worth is licensed as an ambulatory surgery center (ASC) by the Texas Department of State Health Services and operates as a hospital outpatient department of Baylor Scott & White Heart and Vascular Hospital – Dallas pursuant to the Medicare provider-based facility regulations. Baylor Scott & White Heart and Vascular Hospital includes joint ownership with physicians. Baylor Scott & White All Saints Medical Center – Fort Worth is a separately licensed hospital. Both organizations are a part of Baylor Scott & White Health.
