BAYLOR SCOTT & WHITE
HEART AND VASCULAR
HOSPITAL – FORT WORTH
In fiscal year 2019, Baylor Scott & White Heart and Vascular Hospital – Fort Worth* continued to grow
its reputation for the treatment and care of advanced cardiovascular disease patients. As the only
comprehensive structural heart disease program in Tarrant County, the number of complex cases
grew in the areas of valve disorders and less invasive cardiothoracic surgeries. Growth was significant
in both the electrophysiology and cath labs, as well as the increased volume of cardiothoracic surgery
cases. Patients traveled from counties surrounding Tarrant County to receive this specialized care from
the team on the Fort Worth campus.
