Advanced cardiovascular care is available at the hospital in the heart of Fort Worth . In fact , many patients have been treated at Baylor Scott & White Heart and Vascular Hospital – Fort Worth for complex heart disease or congenital heart disorders . In fiscal year 2018 , Baylor Scott & White - Fort Worth became the first and only comprehensive structural heart disease program in Tarrant County . The clinical leadership team oversees interventional cardiac services , electrophysiology services , non-invasive cardiology services , and , new in fiscal year 2018 , leads management oversight for the Carter Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation program .
Growth in cardiovascular volumes and projections for the near-term future required a sizeable expansion project to be completed in fiscal year 2018 . Currently , the sixth floor of Building A on the campus of Baylor Scott & White – Fort Worth continues to house cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology labs , including a hybrid lab , as well as pre- and postprocedure rooms , non-invasive services and the Valve Disorders Center . One of less than a dozen in the entire state of Texas , a robot-assisted technology to perform coronary angioplasties and place stents is located in one of the cath labs in Fort Worth .
