At Baylor Scott & White Heart and Vascular Hospital – Dallas , the Advanced Imaging Department has specially-trained imaging professionals including computed tomography ( CT ) specialists , magnetic resonance imagers , and radiology imaging specialists who work closely with cardiac nurses and who use technologically advanced tools and equipment to support patient diagnosis and treatment .
Calcium Score Screening – For those who are eligible and meet requirements or are referred by a physician , calcium score screening is available . Nurse consultation is offered immediately following the scan and results are provided to the primary care provider or cardiologist same day .
