Publisher’s Corner
Welcome to an exciting new issue of OutBoise Magazine! Ok, so it might not be as exciting as our upcoming
June issue will be, but it’s pretty close!
Last year, we dedicated our February issue to Add
the Words. And while we, at OutBoise, still feel like this
is an important issue, we didn’t really want to repeat
ourselves, this year.
You will notice, throughout this entire issue, that
we’ve done some things very differently than before.
PArt of this is because we want to bring you the best
visual experience as possible. After all, it is a magazine,
and it WILL be in print soon.
Now, with that fun little tidbit out of the way, it is
time to give you a bit of focus. As we move into the
month of February, most people are constantly reminded
about Valentine’s Day.
We think that’s great and all, but how many of us can
actually say they’re in love?
I’m not talking about being in love with someone else.
I, for one, can admit that I’ve had a few too many false
starts down that road. I take it as a lesson learned, and
I move on.
I, for one, spend WAY too much time on that, in my
life. But it is a passion I know I can’t live without. I kow
the real impact behind what I’m doing, and despite the
impact it might have on a few aspects of my life, I know,
what I’m doing has a great meaning to a lot of people.
So, again, I ask. What are you doing in your life? What
are you passionate about? What’s stopping you from
pursuing that?
Who do you see, when you look into that face? Those
eyes? Are you the person you - really - want to be?
Since starting this magazine, my entire life has turned
on its head. I knew I was passionate about the community, and felt that people needed that light to help guide
them to a better place. I know I don’t have all of the
answers, but I will work my hardest to make sure people
see how great this community CAN be. The potential.
Those moments in time where people show how truly
great they can be.
What are you passionate about? Is it helping others?
Singing? Dancing?
And I’m proud that I get ot share that with you every
single month.
No, this month, instead of looking for that special
someone, why not take a step back, turn around, and
take a look in the mirror.
What are you doing to share that ONE THING in your
life, the thing you are most passionate about, with the
world?
Thanks for coming along for the ride so far!
