Welcome Back!
February. While being the shortest month of the
year, we tend to see it as
one of the most important.
This month brings us Valentine’s Day. The one
day of the year that we put a lot of focus on Love.
Not just love, but dating, relationships, and gifts
filled with chocolates and flowers for that special
someone in our lives.
For some people, it can be the most dreaded
day of the year, and for others it can be the most
important day ever.
In this issue, we take a look at love and relationships. We feel that everyone deserves a chance
at love, even if that love is directed
toward ourselves. So while you read this issue,
we’d ask that you keep an open mind and an
open heart. Because love is important. And everyone deserves a little in their lives.
We’re dedicating this issue to the Add The Words
campaign. We, at OutBoise, want to honor those
who have fought so hard to make sure discrimination based on Gender Identity and Sexual Preference comes to an end in the State of Idaho. The
struggle to get these simple words added to the
Human Rights Act has been a long battle, and we
believe this year, we will prevail.
If you haven’t taken the time to look through our
past issues, please be sure to check them out. We
would also recommend staying up-to-date with
all OutBoise-related activies by subscribing to our
magazine, following us on Facebook and Twitter,
and downloading or mobile app.
We’re on our 4th issue of the magazine and
we’re already starting to hear buzz around town
about it. We guarantee you, by Pride this year,
you will see some amazing things come. Not just
in our magazine, but the other events we have
planned in the near future.
Thank you for taking the time to check us out!
And be sure to tell your friends!
