description fits them perfectly. Listen to the lyrics, the way they tell a story with the words that paint the story in front of you. That calming, yet psychedelic sound they produce keeps you listening for more. Bursts of color and feelings fill each song. Make sure ‘Monsters’ is the first song you listen to, as it will prove just that.

On January 13th I was privileged to see the worthwhile band live. Amsterdam Bar & Hall located in Downtown St. Paul, was set with a few artists performing for the night, Feed Your Head as the headliner. The stage sits to the side of the bar, almost to the middle of the room, a hard sight to miss even in a dim lit crowded bar. The Feed Your Head I grew to know that night was well put together, passionate, and true bringing attention to the stage sitting in front of to the side and behind onlookers. Each song holds it on identity and the performance from instrumentation to stage presence was ideal. One of my favorite songs of the night was a cover of “White Rabbit” by Jefferson Airplane. Feed Your Head was defined in that moment for me with their ability to grow in the colors of the sound and nail a performance of a song that gives name to their band.

Feed Your Head isn’t going anywhere just yet either. The band has been together for about a year now working on songs that showcase their talents and sound. To see for yourself head over to the Kitty Cat Klub on March 5th and help celebrate the release of their first album ‘Waning With The Moon’ (and it is a free event I might add!) This information and any upcoming shows can be found on the band’s page, feedyourheadband.wix.com/music, or their Facebook page! Be sure to check out this band’s page and shows, as they are an act you are not going to want to miss out on. Fill your mind with the music that feeds you.
