Exhibition and Sale Aug. 27 – Sept. 25
The Brown County Art Gallery is proud to present a major exhibition of work by legendry Hoosier artist
Nancy Noel in conjunction with her family. Nancy Noel rose to fame in the 1990s with her compelling paintings featuring children, animals and works created during her journey to Africa. Another in her series featured the inspirational Angels Collection. Her works hang in the homes of Oprah Winfrey and Robert Redford, along with museums, embassies, and other institutions.
She also developed a following of collectors from all over the world, leading her to create museum grade reproductions on archival canvas, making her work available to more of her fans. She remains one of the best-selling artists of all time.
The exhibit will offer 20 original works for sale, several never seen by the public, as well as a large selection of reproductions. In addition, a recreation of her Zionsville Studio will feature her paints and ephemera along with a video about her life told by the artist herself.
This is the first major gallery exhibit of her work since her death in 2020 and the Brown County Art Gallery has exclusive rights to this event. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Gallery Foundation.
The exhibit is open daily during regular business hours free of charge.
