TREASURE continued from 62
cent coins made before 1940 were tarnished a pleasant green color.
We found a total of 41 coins on our coin hunt at the side yard of the house, in an area approximate 24’ x 28’. The day of the hunt the ground condition was excellent. It had rained a few days before and the ground was easy to check. It is interesting to note that most of the coins were found under the old clothes line.
What a way to spend a summer day. •
