Saturday, Jan. 18 9:00 a. m. Take a hike on one of the two self-guided trails. Southern Loop Hike( 3.5 miles): Beginning at the Nature Center, hikers begin on a closed park road past breathtaking Hohen point, into Strahl Valley then around Lake Strahl. Return to the Nature Center via Trail # 6. Woodland Hike( 2.75 miles): Beginning at the park’ s Recreation Building and proceeding through Ogle Hollow Nature Preserve( Trail # 5), around Lake Ogle( Trail # 7), and returning to the Recreation Building.
