A Sweet Treat Gift Tutorial
- with free tag download
What you need:
• Glass bottle with lid/cork
• Lace or ribbon
• Hessian strip
• String
• Tag – free download here
• Sweets i.e jellybeans – make sure if
you have a narrow-necked bottle that the sweets will fit
• Glue stick (not pictured)
• Scissors
Steps:
1. Make sure your bottle is clean.
2. Fill with Jelly Beans or other
preferred sweet
3. Close the bottle to stop any
hessian fibers getting into the
sweets.
4. Cut a small strip of hessian that will
fit around the neck of your bottle
with some overlap. Repeat with the
lace or ribbon.
5. Use the glue stick along one side of
the hessian. Place the hessian around the neck of the bottle with the overlap and the back of the bottle (or under the handle if you have a bottle like mine).
6. Repeat the previous step with the
lace or ribbon.
7. Cut out the preferred tag. Poke a
hole in the circle at the top of the tag. Thread through the string and tie around the neck of the bottle
8. Write on the tag and you have a gift
for that special someone.
With supervision, this would be a great tutorial for kids.
