the instructors are absolutely amazing
people and the talent they have to
share with the community is out of the
ordinary.

y name is Skylar Kent and my
life time dream has been to be
a working actor and singer. It
was at the age of 12 that I realized that
I could do this for a living and get paid
for doing something I loved. My career
started in Amarillo, Texas with a local
theater company who provided training
and opportunities to perform in front of
people.
My family and I moved to Santa Clarita
Valley from Texas in January of 2016 to
give me the opportunity to pursue my
dreams, shortly thereafter I enrolled
in classes at SCSOPA. Within a month
of enrollment I was signed with a
print agent and a month later signed
with Rascals Agency.
After some
patience and many classes I received an
opportunity to audition for a Lifetime
Movie Network project for which I was
offered a supporting role.

Other auditions have come my way
and I look forward to many more
opportunities in the business. SCSOPA
is an amazing school where your
dreams can come true, Mr. Mike and

I received so much more than I ever
thought I would get from attending
SCSOPA. There are numerous classes
to choose from such as Voice Over,
Private Voice, Monologue, Scene Study,
Dance, and Modeling providing me an
opportunity to improve my talent as I
learn from the some of the best teachers
around. The school has an added value
of giving us students an opportunity to
audition for agents and managers who
come into the school each and every
Saturday. If you are serious about a
career in acting, singing or modeling you
can’t pick a better place to go to school.
