the Prince of Peace, tips the scales. As
the Christmas carol refrains: “The hopes
and fears of all the years are met in Thee
tonight.” God breaks into our midst– as
Immanuel – God with us, and the desire
of our hearts for peace on earth, peace
in our hearts, and goodwill toward man
are met in Him.
This Christmas I entreat you to not only
know Jesus will be called Prince of Peace
– I implore you to receive Jesus as Savior
and have the added bonus, the promise of Jesus living in you and giving you
what you long for at Christmas and all
year long – Peace. As Ephesians 2:13-14
says, “But now in Christ Jesus you who
were once far away have been brought
near through the blood of Christ. For
Christ, himself is our peace.” Outside of

Him we have no promises. Inside of Him
we have the peace that passes all understanding. We have the peace of the One
who is in charge.
