Our fancy school

Maybe you think that school is something boring, but I think the opposite. My
classmates and I have fun every day but, of course, we always have a lot of work
to do! There are good teachers who give us knowledge, they make us enjoy
school and they prepare us for the future.
Our school is a big two-floor building with two courtyards, two lovely gardens
and a lot of classrooms and halls. The halls are decorated with our drawings
which we make at the school Art lab. In our school there is a big room for all
kinds of events: our three national holidays, summer and Christmas theatrical
shows; also there we do our theatrical education lessons. On the first floor
there is the music room, where the children learn how to play the flute, also
there we sing and learn notes. Every day, children have three or four breaks:
every Monday and Friday we finish school at a quarter past one and every
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday we finish school at two o’clock. There are
some students who stay at school two hours more the others. Some teachers
stay with them and they occupy them with homework or with games.
The gymnastics teachers brought a new game in our school world: the Four
Square game which everybody loves at our school. The students play Four
Square at break time, during which they can also buy food from the school
canteen.
In our school, students from the fifth and sixth grades learn: Greek language
and foreign languages, Maths, History, Geography, Physics, Computer science,
Religion, Social and Political Education, Gymnastics, Music and Art.
Our school has a room where students study how to use a computer. There we
learn how to make games or short computer-animation films.
Every month there is a day on which we don’t do lessons and we go out to see a
theatrical show or we go to museums or to sports centres.
My school is really cool! I enjoy studying here and I love my teachers and my
classmates. I am really lucky being here!
