Sharing good food with family , friends and colleagues is one of life ’ s great pleasures and can be the basis of some of our happiest memories . However , it can sometimes be difficult to find the time to prepare healthy , nutritious meals and snacks , given everything going on in our busy lives . Yet , eating well can actually help us better cope with the pressures of modern life and is vitally important to our overall health and wellbeing .
Lucky for us , colleagues from right across the business have given us a kick start , with more than 210 healthy and nutritious recipes submitted by David Jones ’ employees during the 2015 and 2016 Healthy Recipe competitions . From quick and easy snacks to slow cooked stews ; on-the-go breakfasts to energy enhancing lunches ; nutritious midweek dinners to scrumptious desserts , our contributors have covered it all . So if you ’ re looking for a tried-and-true family dinner or an exciting new recipe for a special dinner party , look no further .
