COMMUNITY SATISFACTION SURVEY
From a random sample of residents , functions were ranked in importance ( 1 to 35 , with 1 being the highest ), and provided a ranking of high , average or low performance relative to importance .
For the high performing areas , we aim to keep these performing highly in the eyes of our community . For areas of perceived average or low performance , these will be areas of focus for us going forward - this will include communicating more about what we are doing in these areas .

OTHER KEY STAKEHOLDERS
• Funding Bodies
Council actively pursues funding from the Australian and Queensland Government to contribute to projects that would otherwise be unaffordable for our region ' s ratepayers . With each funding agreement there are regular reporting requirements .
• Queensland Audit Office ( QAO )
Each year a delegate of the QAO audits Council ' s financial statements conducting both an interim and final audit . The audited financial statements are available to the community each year through Council ' s published Annual Report .
• Queensland Treasury Corporation ( QTC )
The QTC reviews Council ' s finances as part of any application to borrow , and is ultimately the lender for all borrowings included in Council ' s budget each year . Council provides information as required to assist in their review process .
• Queensland Local Government Grants Commission ( QLGGC )
Council relies heavily on the annual Financial Assistance Grant from the Australian Government , which is administered by the QLGGC . The provision of financial assistance for the calculation of that grant is a key financial task each year .
• Audit Committee
Council has in place an audit committee comprising representatives from Council and the community who review Council ' s finances and provide oversight for internal audit projects .
