ime flies when you’re having
fun. As we embark on our 10th
year in ever-evolving King Street
I’ve been reflecting on my time
at the helm of Horton and Garton.
The view from our Hammersmith
office has certainly changed with the
demolition of the cinema. It’s one
example of west London’s changing
landscape. Just down the road we’ve
just opened a Chiswick office in
Turnham Green, so our community
outreach and charitable involvement
now spans three postcodes.
The question I hear each day is:
“What is REALLY happening to the
market?” The good news is we are
constantly listing new properties for
sale and to let. Property is still selling,
and buyers are still buying, just not at
the pace we’ve been accustomed to.
The good news is, property
is still selling, and buyers
are still buying. Just not
at the same pace
The past 15 months have seen
changes in expectation from buyers,
while vendors and landlords have been
adjusting to the seismic shift of Brexit.
However, I anticipate a stronger third
and fourth quarter with savvy buyers
and renters returning to the market
after the election.
The key when buying or letting
your property is to choose your
agent carefully. Ensure they have the
experience, knowledge, expertise and
energy required to guide you through
this unique time in the market and
achieve the best price for your property
and situation.
If you are buying, selling or renting,
call us. I guarantee we can offer full
support as we continue to put our
clients at the heart of our business.
