Our Patch SUMMER 2017
Charity begins WITH OUR HOMES
John Horton commits 10 % of each sale and letting fee to your chosen charity as he celebrates the opening of his new Chiswick branch. Here’ s why...
Having lived and worked in Hammersmith for over 20 years, I can’ t walk down the street without encountering friends along the way. During my time as an estate agent I’ ve amassed a wealth of contacts and experience across Hammersmith and Shepherds Bush.
As a family businessman with a team boasting over 90 years of experience in west London property, I hope my business stands out by cutting through the jargon and offering an experienced, personable and professional service to vendors, landlords, buyers and renters alike.
We work tirelessly for our clients while trying to give back to the local community by supporting various events and charities that make up the very fabric of our neighbourhoods.
For instance, we proudly support The Upper Room at the Bedford Park Festival ' s Green Days, Chiswick House and Gardens Trust, St Peter’ s Primary School, St Peter’ s Parish Church Hammersmith, Southfield Primary School and the Bumble Bee Conservation Trust, to name but a few.
Partnering with local businesses that give back locally, such as Shooting Starz, is always a pleasure. And thanks to your custom, I am now committing 10 % of our fee for each sale and let to a charity of your choosing.
Why Chiswick? Having recently recently relocated to a house in Chiswick’ s Cranbrook Road, I explained my ambitions for opening a branch of Horton and
Garton to an old colleague and onetime rival Paul Cooney. I first noticed Paul seven years ago. His work ethic and drive were obvious – we could never have a proper chat because Paul was permanently glued to the phone. But we would regularly make time after work to catch up and discuss local market movements and successes.
Paul and I quickly realised it was a true meeting of minds – two agents with the same values of honesty, integrity and community mindedness as well as sharing a hard-working approach to business. Paul has spent many years as a top-performing manager in W4, and his knowledge of the Chiswick property market is second to none.
The new Horton and Garton W4 office opened in Gable House on Turnham Green Terrace in April. And with new properties launching, and

sales and lets agreed, it’ s safe to say we’ re off to a flying start.
Keep an eye out for Paul, me and the Horton and Garton team at the many upcoming local events that make the summer so busy and fun locally.
We’ d love to meet you and tell you more about how we hope to get more involved in the area.
