HABANERA
In every issue of Our Patch we will showcase a local business
from our Partners scheme. The new Horton and Garton scheme
aims to reward residents for shopping locally and supporting
the community. This issue, we take a look at Habanera

pening a few months
ago – and preceded by
some cryptic tweets
which piqued huge
interest from the local
community – Habanera
has caused quite a stir since throwing
wide its doors in Uxbridge Road.
Greeted by rave reviews from critics
and residents alike, the restaurant has
brought a welcome splash of Mexico to
Shepherds Bush.
A local resident herself, owner
and director Lorraine Caie is a vocal
advocate of the local community and
sees Habanera as very much a positive
contribution to the area she lives in.
“I totally love the community around
here – I think the Shepherds Bush
community is creative, artistic and most
of all they’re very cool! So I wanted to
create a really fun environment which
is vibrant,” she says.
