It’s probably a testament to how busy we’ve been here at Horton and Garton. After having one property on the market in April which attracted more than 200 viewings I almost found myself wishing that things would quiet down a bit. I’m not complaining though of course... But I’m now very much looking forward to the summer months, and here’s hoping for some We’ve always been blessed with a fantastic community of local artists and performers good weather. The borough is always a great place to be when the sun is shining and this summer promises to be even better with the first HF ArtsFest (see pages 6 and 7 for details). We’ve always been blessed with a fantastic community of local artists and performers, so it’s brilliant to have a week of events to celebrate this legacy. As a result, we’re celebrating the arts in this edition of Our Patch – our ‘Arts Special’ features an interview with local musical charity leader and owner of the renowned Bush Hall, Emma Hutchinson (pages 8-10), along with a round-up of all the best arts events going on this month (pages 14&15). And if that’s not enough we’re also giving you a chance to win exclusive tickets courtesy of Hammersmith’s Eventim Apollo! As usual, it’s plenty for us to make a song and dance about. Onwards and upwards.
