What’s on:
e have seen a refreshingly
busy start to 2015. The
phones have been ringing
hot with tenants looking
to register, rent a property and with
buyers commencing their search for
their next family home, while sellers are
beginning to prepare their properties
ready for the spring market.
My advice to any vendor or landlord
would be to contact your estate agents
now and consider bringing forward
your decision making. Our busy office

staff so we are ideally positioned to
assist you. So if you are buying, selling
or renting – talk to us!
All the current talk of interest
rates, the recent stamp duty changes,
challenges with mortgage lending,
mansion tax, inflation and deflation is
keeping everyone guessing on how the
market will react this year.
However, Hammersmith and
Shepherds Bush continue to be a first
choice for the professional City tenants
and particularly for many family buyers
leaving Zone 1 (especially Notting Hill
or Marylebone) who seek out the new
frontier of Zone 2. Read our thoughts
about the year ahead on pages 14-16.
Meanwhile, last year was full of
awards for Our Patch and us. See page 23.
So may I take this opportunity to
offer a big ‘thank you’ to all of our
clients and readers. Let’s hope the
good times keep rolling.
