Belmont Primary Belmont’ s Headteacher Verity Coates has left the school after 21 years’ service. Deputy Head Teacher Mr Martin will take over as Acting Headteacher until a replacement is appointed. Verity said of her time at Belmont,“ It has been a real privilege to see so many children right through the school, and often to be given a glimpse of who they’ ve become years down the line. A former pupil reintroduced himself to me as a new parent on the Reception induction morning, so I daresay it really is time to go!”
