“The Beyond” 

There’s a feeling that I sometimes experience; it’s unlike any other feeling because it isn’t defined 
by anything. It can feel like ice piercing through my heart, or a ray of sunshine to warm my day. 
Sometimes, it feels like a gaping hole of nothingness while at othertimes it’s like absolute peace. The 
only constant is it’s placement right between my heart and chestand it’s begging to be shared. I can’t 
express it through speech because it’s beyond explanation, so I try to make others physically feel it by 
talking them out of logic. Alas, the human mind craves knowledge and stability, and letting go is too 
painful, though I still wish they could feel the beauty of this darkness. You see, sometimes the best 
path forward is to forget the path and embrace oblivion Or as I call it: the Beyond.
