“Building a Computer” 

The board is the foundation, without it nothing can be done. The Core Processing Unit is the 
blueprint, the brains of the computer. The RAM is the architect, it knows what has to happen. Now 
the walls, the floors, the rooms, and the internal systems go up. They are the computer’s frame. It is 
almost ready to be used. The Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) is the interior designer come to make 
those blank rooms vivid and colorful. The Benefactor walks into the dark entrance hall and flips the 
main power switch. A moment of nothing. Then, everything lights up. From the chandelier to the 
paintings on the walls, he is satisfied that it’s finally done and it’s beautiful.
