“My husband and I are not originally from Presque
Isle, Maine, and our closest family is more than
600 miles away. Since moving up to Maine, my
husband and I have searched for an activity where
our two boys would have fun in a positive and
safe environment. The Presque Isle Youth Hockey
program has not only met our expectations, it has
surpassed them.
The PIYH program has allowed both of my boys
to develop their hockey skills in a safe and
nurturing environment. The program emphasizes
sportsmanship and lasting friendships and helps the
players value the true joy of playing hockey. Our
‘Hockey Family’ has helped me raise our boys to be
kind and caring athletes as well as model citizens
in our community; and for that I am forever
grateful! Go Wildcats !”
