An exciting new event has arrived in The County! The Mars Hill Mountain
Challenge is an adventure obstacle race hosted at Bigrock Mountain. The challenge
features the alpine terrain of Bigrock Mountain Ski Area with a variety of natural
and man-made obstacles over a 5 kilometer course with plenty of elevation gain.
As this event was held on our deadline weekend we couldn’t cover it in full, but
we wanted to share some photos of the experience with you. A date of August 15
has already been set for next year and registration is now open. If you are looking
for an event that will push you to the limit while experiencing one of Aroostook’s
great outdoor settings this is exactly what you need.
