Our Lives, Our Dreams: OYY English Magazine 2013-2014 2013-2014 | Página 11

OYY possesses. Sometimes I take a walk with my best friends in our school. We pass the winding stone paths, smell the fragrant flowers, watch the gold fish swimming freely in the pond and enjoy the unique scenery together. You can imagine how cozy it might be. Wandering like this reduces the pressures from our homes and our studies. Also we learn to appreciate the beauty of nature. Apart from the splendid environment, what impresses me the most are the enthusiastic teachers and students. There are so many students, and while I don’t know all of their names, they still offer their help to me when I am in need. In return, I am glad and ready to help others. We pass the positive energy amongst ourselves in our daily lives. Now I want to tell you about our kind, admirable, sometimes humorous, sometimes serious teachers. They tell us the solutions to problems with patience. They are knowledgeable and their classes are so attractive and colorful that we learn skills and gain happiness at the same time. Thanks to their hard work, we have kept the passion and motivation to study. For example, take our head teacher, Mr. Xia. He instructs and educates us and is just like our father. We all respect and love him. The communications between teachers and students help make us close friends. You can see teachers and students playing basketball and taking part in many other activities together. Talking with our friendly foreign teachers can improve our spoken English and let us learn about different cultures and lifestyles. The seeds of friendship have grown in English Corner regardless of nationalities and the colors of our skin. Large quantities of unforgettable memories come to my mind when I recall the past several years. I can’t express all of them in simple words because it’s a deep emotional feeling. I have studied here for about 6 years. I am aware of almost everything at OYY. We will graduate soon, so I have to say goodbye to this unusual school in about forty days. However, I feel so sad for not being able to continue to enjoy the beauty of OYY. I’d like to leave my footprint at OYY. I want to prove that I am a member of the family. Maybe it’s a sense of existence and belonging. I want to make some changes within the following 40 days. There is still a long way to go for both the school and students. I will take everything that OYY has taught me wherever I go in my future. I believe that we can make great achievements as long as we stay positive and love everything every single day. Let’s have a try and put it into practice. We can make our own achievements some day!
