OUR LIFE MOTTOS – project newsletter
BOOKS AND WISDOM
This month - according to our project plan we are going to discuss the topic of books and
wisdom.
As usually various activities will be organized
to present the topic!
Here are our main ideas:

shooting movies promoting reading
books and our school libraries
(a competition will be organized to
choose the winner!)

recording short movies presenting
most popular quotations (students
will act out the dialogues dressed up
as book characters)
-
recommending students’ favourite
books (using Padlet)
-
preparing an on line questionnaire
Reading – I like it!
There were a lot of different events organized
in Gimnazjum nr 14 in Ruda Śląska to
promote reading.
The enterprise took place in February 2016.
We will present various activities prepared by
Polish teachers
A special guest in our school!
On 2nd February students and teachers of
our school had a Chance to meet a special
guest. Milena Jaworska, a 17-year-old
novelist, visited us.
Being such a young person, she has already
fulfilled the biggest dream of her life – she
published her first book ‘Miles”.
It was great to meet such a hardworking
and enthusiastic person. Her attitude
towards life and people made us believe
that if we really want to achieve something,
it is possible! We just need to be motivated
and believe that dreams may come true
