LITERATURE COMPETITION
Reading books – I like it!
These are the events we prepared to
celebrate the Literature Week
- a photography competition – each class
prepared a photo which promoted our school
library
- ‘Show me your books’ – individual students
were invited to present their home libraries
On 3rd February a big event took place in
our school! All classes gathered in our gym
to support their teams who took part in a
literature competition.
Students had to solve different tasks – they
had to recognize characters from the books,
famous quotations. They also prepared
some quizzes for their friends and mottos
promoting reading books.
All of us had a lot of fun and each class was
cheering their representatives!
Students from class 1b turned out to be the
best and they won the main prize – tickets
to the cinema!

- each class was supposed to prepare a cover for
the given book – the best one was the cover to
‘A Christmas Carol’ prepared by class 1 b
- all students were encouraged to dress up as
their favourite literature characters
- at the beginning of some lessons students
could read pieces from their favourite books and
recommend them to their friends
