by Amber Hood, Learning Center Child Care Coordinator Inspired by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s legacy, Mary Mayo, a student at e-Stem Public Charter School, decided to use her day off from school to raise money and awareness for the working homeless men, women, and children at Our House. “ ” Mary created signs to celebrate the life of King and to encourage friends and neighbors to donate what they could to Our House as a tribute to him.
