I was sitting a few chairs down from the little girl and her
mom, but I was close enough to overhear a conversation
between and another girl, a few years older than her, who was
home from school with a cold.
“Did you see that thing they’re building? I know what it is!”
“What?” The nine-year-old asked.
“It’s a building just for us. They’re making it just for us. And
there’s going to be music and art and reading.”
