My favorite memory was Pinnacle
Mountain. It was a hot & tiring
day, but the excitement the children had about making it to the
top & seeing the view was well
worth it. It was a great bonding
experience & reminded me how
incredible these children are.

At Pinnacle Mountain, I had five
kids hiking with me, including the
only Orange Team member that
climbed it. She was 6 years old &
determined. She was the first to
reach the top. The look of dignity
on her face was my favorite part of
the summer. She had made it &
was proud of herself.
