Learning Center Summer Institute VISTA
This summer, Learning Center students participated
in music, photography, and creative writing workshops. Clients developed critical thinking skills and
bonded with each other while using art as a way of
turning oftentimes complicated, overwhelming, and
abstract feelings into something tangible.
Clinton School graduate Maggie Carroll, UCA Master‟s
candidate Eli Nichols, and UALR music professor
Vicki Lind volunteered their time and talents to lead
the workshops which concluded with a live music
performance and photography exhibit for Our House
residents and by Our House residents.
