HOW WE STARTED
M. R. T. has strong roots in the custom design and wholesale marketplace. As a downtown Providence Jeweler in the 1970s and’ 80s, Joe Audette developed international diamond contacts so direct that he was able to wholesale products to many other Rhode Island retailers. Today these overseas diamond relationships remain and allow M. R. T. to not only source the finest diamonds in the world, but at prices that cannot be matched.

“ We were providing custom jewelry for our clients in the 1970s long before other leading retailers were able to,” says Dave Audette. In present time M. R. T. has combined the ability to custom design and complete in store repairs alongside Rhode Island’ s largest GIA graded diamond inventory.
