Overview Our Network Engineer Level 4 programme gives your employees the skills to design, install, maintain and support communication networks within your organisation or between organisations. They will then go on to understanding network configuration, cloud, network administration, monitoring tools, and be able to give technical advice and guidance. Over the course of up to 24 months, we will support your Network Engineer to advance their career Benefits of this Programme Your employee will learn to: • Design simple networks from a well-defined specification and apply appropriate security products and processes. • Install and configure network components, including switches, routers and firewalls. • Understand the applications of the principles of networking, protocols and associated technologies. • Understand the architecture of a typical business IT system, including hardware, OS, server, virtualisation, middleware and applications. • Have an understanding of the IT laws and regulations applicable to their role. in Technology whilst giving them the knowledge to apply directly to their role within your business. Training and Mentoring Over the course of the programme, your participant will have monthly 24 Months Length of Programme contact with their learning coach, either through face-to-face visits or telephone contact. Their coach will guide them through the tasks that will allow them to demonstrate competence and underpin the knowledge requ ired to achieve. Industry Recognised Qualification On completion of the qualification, your employee will be awarded a Level 4 qualification in Network Engineering. In addition to this, they can also take additional vendor or professional qualifications.
