Villages , Towns & Cities

Just a short 15-minute drive from the south of Calgary is the town of Okotoks , where visitors will find casual and fine dining , boutiques and art galleries .
The city of Airdrie lies north of Calgary and boasts shopping , plenty of casual dining options , and the scenic Nose Creek Park with a beautiful pond and a fountain attraction .
Directly east of Calgary is Chestermere , a small , quiet city with the gorgeous Chestermere Lake where visitors can paddleboard , fish , boat and swim . A number of family-friendly restaurants plus shopping can also be found in the city .
Take a short drive west to the town of Cochrane and visit the old part of town where you ’ ll find saloon-style restaurants and accommodation .
Get out of the big city and visit the small town of Black Diamond where guests can find local artwork , clothing and casual dining in the business district , and horseback riding , fishing and camping in the area .
The quaint hamlet of Bragg Creek is situated at the edge of Kananaskis Country and has a vibrant arts community , fresh food and shopping all within stunning forest scenery .
