HISTORIC DUNVEGAN PROVINCIAL PARK
The site of one of Alberta’s earliest fur-trading
posts on the Peace River, Historic Dunvegan
Provincial Park brings the past to life with
costumed interpreters, restored historical
buildings and hands-on activities. Learn all
about the life of Hudson’s Bay Company
traders and missionaries back in 1805.
Throughout the summer, special events will
allow you to partake in historical activities,
such as baking bannock and making traditional
