Western Canada’s largest amusement park is

HERITAGE PARK HISTORICAL VILLAGE
Step back in time and learn about the city’s
early development at Calgary’s living history
museum, Heritage Park. Live performances,
interactions with costumed interpreters and
tours are available at the park, along with
special exhibits, dining, shopping and hands-on

Enjoy a 360-degree view of the city and the
Rocky Mountains from the observation deck,
191 m above ground. Multimedia tours are
complimentary with admission and guide your
view from high atop the city. The audio guides
are available in seven languages: English,
French, German, Mandarin, Korean, Spanish
and Japanese. Every day before sunrise and
after sunset, the tower is illuminated with LED
lighting in different colours to celebrate holidays
and local events. In the revolving Sky 360
restaurant and lounge, dine on internationally
inspired cuisine. $18 adult; $16 senior (65+);
$9 child (4 -12); children 3 and under are free.

Studio Bell, home of the National Music Centre,
is a remarkable architectural achievement and a
spectacular addition to Calgary — and Canada’s
— arts and culture scene. The National Music
Centre is home to an extensive collection of
music memorabilia, three recording studio spaces
including the legendary Rolling Stones Mobile
Recording Studio interactive exhibits, and more.

WINSPORT BOW HABITAT STATION
Open year-round, this facility has plenty of
outdoor activities to try. Get your heart rate going
as you fly through the air and take in gorgeous
views of the city on the zipline tour, or shuttle
down the summer bobsleigh track. Looking for
something a little more relaxing? Take the family
to enjoy the scenic mini golf course. In the winter,
the facility is open for skiing, snowboarding, luge
and even a bobsleigh experience. Prices vary per

habitats. Included: the Sam Livingston Fish
Hatchery, the Pearce Estate Park Interpretive

THE CALGARY ZOO
The Calgary Zoo houses animals from all over
the world including lions, tigers, komodo
dragons and penguins. New in 2018 is Panda
Passage, which houses a family of four giant
pandas – breeding pair Da Mao and Er Shun and
twins Jia Panpan and Jia Yueyue. The Canadian
Wilds section houses the “locals,” from bears
and cougars to bison and mountain goats, while
the African Rainforest and Savannah buildings
are home to hippos, giraffes, gorillas, mandrills
