this local, alternative music festival to enjoy
an eclectic mix of performances by over 250
musicians, artists, filmmakers and comedians.
Performances take place in both indoor
and outdoor venues across the city, though
the main gig is outdoors at Olympic Plaza
downtown — a full day of music acts for

Jul 6 - 15 Calgary Stampede “The Greatest
Outdoor Show on Earth” is Calgary’s
signature event and the largest rodeo
in Canada. Along with traditional rodeo
competitions like bull riding, barrel racing,
saddle bronc and chuckwagon derby, it
features a massive midway, two concert
stages, a parade and lots more. Stampede

Jul 26 - 29 Calgary Folk Music Festival For
Calgary Pride
a true taste of a Calgary summer, get your
tickets to the most anticipated festival of the
year. This outdoor music festival takes place
in the beautiful setting of Prince’s Island
Park, and thousands gather with blankets and
chairs to enjoy a relaxing weekend of folk
music. This year Neko Case, Saul Williams and
A Tribe Called Red are among the performers.

Calgary Fringe hosts a combination of local,
national, and international productions
of drama, comedy, puppetry and improv
