Welcome to OC!
LUKE SHAISHNIKOFF
Luke Shaishnikoff is a 19-year old OC shareholder who was born in
Fairbanks and raised in Unalaska. From a young age, he was been
around the construction and maintenance industries, and since he was
old enough to swing a hammer, he has worked in those fields. His father,
Jim Shaishnikoff, works for the City of Unalaska in the maintenance
department, and Luke learned a lot from both him and his mom Charlene.
Prior to OC, Luke worked in building supplies at UBS, where he gained
experience and got to know other professionals in his field. He was
encouraged to apply for the position with OC, and with his background
and willingness to work hard and learn, he was a natural fit for the role.
As a member of a four-person team, Luke and his co-workers provide a
variety of services – from building maintenance and repairs on residential
properties and sidewalk clearing in winter to a recent favorite: setting up
the tents and other structures at Camp Q. “I really love my job – I see
myself retiring from OC!” he says. “everyone I work with is friendly and
they work hard – it’s great.”
To those that are interested in a career path in trades like these, he
recommends working hard in school, especially in math, and be willing
to get your hands dirty. As an avid outdoorsperson, who enjoys hunting,
fishing and camping around the island – Luke likes that his job gets him
outside often. “I’m able to really enjoy Unalaska, and make a living doing
something I love.”
Welcome to OC Luke!

Minnesota State University Mankato, Summa Cum Laude with degrees in

During Allie’s career she has worked at KPMG as an auditor, where she

worked at Calista Corporation, where she was responsible for various
responsibilities including cash management, investment management,
software implementations, developing processes and procedures,

AT OC, she will be taking over Controller duties from CFO Rick Miller and
working closely with him to ensure the transition is seamless.
“I am looking forwarding to using the skills I have developed to help the
Ounalashka Corporation continue to grow, and to work with all of the
wonderful people there,” she said. “I want to learn about the local history
and culture, as well as the people.”
