Entrevista a modo de viaje

Fernando Pessoa wrote that tremendous phrase that says“ The best way to travel is to feel”. But we agree that the culmination of this concept would be to feel while traveling. So, I ask you, what have you felt on this trip? What I saw, heard, and subsequently wrote, changed me. At the start of this trip, I had a tendency to dismiss some of the myths and tales associated with the locations we planned to see as exaggerations or just plain tourist traps. But after we got to the real Merida, which I’ m just using here as a placeholder for the other places we went, I started to have a more deliberate thinking.
The overexposed photographs of monuments, clear skies and majestic landscapes found on tourist websites always give me a sense of skepticism and uncertainty. However, as I immersed myself and came into physical contact with the elements and monuments in situ, I felt a primordial innocence and optimism that would stay with me for the rest of the trip. A childlike feeling in the face of the great adventure that remained to be realized.
Fernando Pessoa escribió aquella frase tan tremenda que dice « La mejor manera de viajar es sentir ». Pero estaremos de acuerdo que el culmen de este concepto sería sentir viajando. Por lo tanto te pregunto ¿ qué has sentido en este viaje?
Lo que vi, escuché, y posteriormente escribí, me cambió.
Al comienzo de este viaje, me inclinaba a entender algunas leyendas e historias de los lugares que pretendíamos visitar como exageraciones y alguna que otra locura, ganchos turísticos. Pero al llegar a la Mérida real— lugar que uso aquí como mera referencia de los otros sitios que visitamos—, llegué a tener una idea más pensativa.
Las fotografías sobreexpuestas de monumentos, cielos despejados y paisajes majestuosos que se encuentran en las webs turísticas siempre me dan una sensación de escepticismo e incertidumbre. Sin embargo, al sumergirme y entrar en
