NAUTILUS PROJECT HOSTS THE 6TH ANNUAL GIBRALTAR SUSTAINABLE AWARDS
On Wednesday , October 2nd , the Nautilus Project proudly hosted the 6th edition of the Gibraltar Sustainable Awards at the GSLA Boathouse . This annual event , organized in collaboration with the Gibraltar Federation of Small Businesses , celebrated individuals and organizations at the forefront of environmental stewardship and sustainable innovation in Gibraltar .
This year ’ s theme , “ Planet Ocean : Tides Are Changing ,” focused on showcasing Gibraltar ’ s diverse efforts to combat plastic pollution and reduce carbon footprints . With the climate crisis increasingly dominating global discourse , the awards highlighted Gibraltar ’ s role in leading by example , bringing attention to innovative local solutions aimed at addressing the environmental challenges facing our planet .
The event brought together businesses , NGOs , and community leaders who are making strides toward a more sustainable future . The awards recognized both seasoned leaders in sustainability and emerging change-makers within the community , reflecting Gibraltar ’ s commitment to tackling the environmental challenges of our time .
