Memoirs of a snail. Adam Elliot.
A stop-motion animated film that narrates the life of Grace Pudel, a lonely girl in Australia in the 1970s, fond of collecting snail figurines and passionate about romantic novels. After the death of her father and the separation from her twin brother Gilbert, Grace faces a series of challenges that lead her into a spiral of anxiety and isolation. The plot explores themes of loneliness, loss and the search for human connection.
However, its dark tone and adult themes steer it away from conventional children ' s animation, positioning it as a work aimed primarily at adult audiences.
