GREAT GIBRALTAR BEACH CLEANS REMOVE 140KG OF WASTE
The 126 th and 127 th Great Gibraltar Beach Cleans saw volunteers collect a combined 140kg of waste from local shorelines in March. These initiatives, led by The Nautilus Project, demonstrate ongoing community dedication to environmental conservation.
At the GSLA area, Duke of Edinburgh participants joined the Gibraltar Canoeing Association in their efforts to clear 80kg of litter. Meanwhile, at Camp
Bay, another cleanup effort— part of St Joseph’ s Lower School’ s Science Week— resulted in the removal of 60kg of waste.
The Nautilus Project expressed gratitude to all participants, recognizing their contributions as a testament to Gibraltar’ s strong civic pride. The charity also extended special thanks to Recycle. gi and EcoPark for their support.
