Do you have a set time frame for each phase of the Active Travel Strategy , and when will we start to see new infrastructure put in place ?
We do not currently have an exact timeline for the whole project . Depending on funding , it could take up to 10 years , but it could take 2 years . Phases one , two and three will happen over the coming months , that is Bayside Road , Glacis Road and Waterport Road . Preliminary works have already started on Phase 1 , and the expected time frame for completion will be within a few months . At first , there will be a pop-up cycle lane along Bayside Road , pop-up because of the upcoming construction projects within this area . Glacis Road which is Phase 2 will be the first section with permanent infrastructure which will include both lanes and improved pedestrian infrastructure as no further development is envisaged here . Then we will look at Waterport Road , which should also be permanent in nature , although plans have not been finalised yet . We should also be embarking on a project along Europort Avenue and Europort Road . Plans for that stretch of road were recently submitted to DPC and received unanimously approval , and although this is a government project , it will be funded privately which is great news !
Speaking of private funding , will private developers be required to include infrastructure as part of any new developments in Gibraltar ?

Actualmente no tenemos un calendario exacto para todo el proyecto . Dependiendo de la financiación , podría tardar hasta 10 años , pero podría tardar 2 años . Las fases uno , dos y tres se llevarán a cabo en los próximos meses , es decir , Bayside Road , Glacis Road y Waterport Road .
